leaders if they don\u2019t first have a vision that being a leader<br \/>\nis both possible and desirable<br \/>\n\u2022 When girls and women don\u2019t see themselves as leaders they self-select out<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #289bd7;\">Seeing leader role models is the essential first step<br \/>\nin developing women as leaders. <\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>We know that:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n\u2022 Other people need to see women as leaders.<br \/>\n\u2022 Other people won\u2019t accept or create opportunity for women leaders if they don\u2019t first see women in significant, unconventional leadership roles<br \/>\n\u2022 When other people don\u2019t see women as leaders they don\u2019t believe there is value in increasing the amount of women in leadership roles.<\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #289bd7;\">Seeing women as leaders is the first step in creating <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color:
